Delt Affinity Challenge

The Delt Affinity Challenge was a great success. We blew away the living unit competition with 639 total donations. The Betas were second with 404. Last year we had 342 total donations.

The Wabash Day of Giving raised $1,633,734 through 6,900 donations. The Delt gifts contributed 9.2% of the total number of donations. Thanks to all of you who participated in the Delt Affinity Challenge!! I am so proud to be a Wabash Delt.

A special thanks to the Delt Alumni Advisory team, 603 WW Inc. Board and Committee members, the Class of '79, and Steve Wakefield and Dan Walters who supported the gift challenges. I want to thank Nick Prihoda and Steve Wakefield for help with communication to the Delt Nation and Brad Ballentine who organized a group text for the Class of '79.

I had so much fun as we encouraged each other throughout the day to keep the Delts on top. I would encourage all classes to do the same for next year's challenge.

The Board of 603 WW Inc. is looking for ways to reconnect Wabash Delt Alumni from all classes. We are looking for individuals who are willing to be a contact person for their pledge class.

Your responsibility would be to get good contact information for your class pledge brothers. Periodically we would ask you to reach out to your pledge brothers by email, text or social media to share information about upcoming Wabash Delt activities such as the Delt Affinity Challenge, Big Bash, Monon Bell and local get-togethers. You can also organize special class activities if your Class desires.

If you are willing to be the contact for your pledge class, email Steve Wakefield at stevew392@aol.com.

Thank you again!
Dan Walters '79
