July Campaign Letter
Gentlemen:
By now you should be well aware of the establishment of the not -for- profit Corporation 603 WW.The 603 WW idea came about after several very successful Alumni Events involving Wabash Delts- Alumni involved largely agree that there is much to be gained from continued association among those who have benefited from and enjoyed the experience of living in Crawfordsville at the 603 West Wabash address.Thus the 603WW Corporation was born.
I am writing today to invite your participation in the various 603 WW activities and ask that you participate in the early stages of the 603 WW development.
We have created a financial plan which includes three separate and distinct activities:
An Annual Dues structure designed to provide a pool of operating money for the 603 WW Group to do their work.Dues for all Members are suggested at $50.00 per calendar year- a $100.00 gift would be appreciated and would include dues.
Activity Fees:- each 603 WW Event will be 'pay as you go.'
Thus, popular events such as the Delt Gatherings surrounding the Monon Bell Weekend will have fees which will cover event costs.Any overage will accrue to the General 603 WW Fund.Lastly, we have decided to create a longer term endowment for 603 WW-the income from which may someday provide financial support for projects which are of interest to the general 603 WW group.We welcome ideas but we particularly welcome your financial support as we begin to get the Endowment Fund off the ground.Please see the attached instructions for ZELLE/ US Bank giving and PayPal gifts.
The Fund can accept both cash and debit/credit card gifts.of A receipt for your tax records will be part of the transaction.All financial support for the Endowment is fully tax deductible.
I particularly encourage you to participate today with your dues payment.The flow of Annual Gifts and Dues will enable 603 WW to be self supporting.
Additionally , I ask that you consider Gifts to the Endowment as you are able.This Endowment will provide the foundation for the 603 WW Mission going forward...we welcome you to join those who have already contributed.To be clear,these monies will be invested for the long term in broadly indexed investments.There is no current plan for the expenditure of any Endowment Funds.
